American Express Blue Sky
Credit Card – Click4Credit Overview
The American Express
Blue Sky Credit Card enables the occasional traveller to use
accumulated rewards points to visit popular domestic and international
destinations on any day you choose, all year round, without worrying
about blackout dates. American
Express Credit Card’s travel services will arrange
your flight with a variety of leading airlines. Take advantage of a
special offer: if your AMEX card application for Blue Sky Credit Card
is approved and you book a flight by 01 January 2009, you will need
only one-half of the required points for any destination.
About
the American Express Blue Sky Credit Card
The Blue Sky Credit Card from
American Express Credit Cards is specially designed for travellers who
like to schedule their travel on particular times in the year, on dates
most convenient for them. Many cards offer flight rewards, but few give
the option of no blackout dates over the entire year. The Blue Sky
Credit Card lets you choose any day in the year you want to fly to your
preferred destination. Select cities from the Blue Sky Credit Card
Destination Guide, which tells you the fixed points cost for domestic
and international destinations. You’ll need to inform
American Express Credit Card’s travel services of your plans
at least 30 days before your desired departure date, to allow enough
time to arrange your flight.
Approval of your AMEX
card application for Blue Sky Credit Card gets you a no-fee membership
in the Membership Rewards Blue Sky programme. You also get the chance
for low 6.99% interest on balances transferred from other cards.
You’ll enjoy the low interest over the whole life of the
transferred balance. Note that all your payments will be applied first
to the transferred balance, so your new purchases will continue to
attract the usual 18.99% standard rate.
Who
may obtain the American Express Blue Sky Credit Card?
The Blue Sky Credit
Card from American Express credit cards is perfect for the occasional
traveller. You can redeem rewards points earned from using the card for
flights with various airlines, not just one.
You may qualify for
the Blue Sky Credit Card if you are an Australian citizen or a
permanent resident, at least 18 years of age, have a good credit
rating, and have annual income of $40,000 or more. You may fill out an
online AMEX card application. You will need your driver’s
licence and employer’s full address with postcode or, if
self-employed/retired, your accountant’s contact details.
